About us

The company started on January 1, 1996 by taking over from ESEC SA their Wafer Mounter and Wafer Saw division, which was outsourced in accordance with a new business policy.

POWATEC already enjoys the patronage of a great number of customers. The alphabetical list includes well known corporations such as: ABB, Bosch, Fraunhofer, Qimonda, Motorola, NXP, Micron, Infineon, STMicroelectronics etc.

Presently POWATEC has sales agents in the United States and in South East Asia. Maintenance is provided by the sales agent who is specially trained for the purpose.

The Mail field of our business activity:

• Development and sales of high quality and reliable machines in selected niches of the market.
  
• Services, i.e. sawing of wafers, maintenance of wafer mounters and wafer saws.
  
• Representation of and agencies for non competitive products suitable to be sold to our customers.

With a view to achieving our targets, we want to distinguish ourselves by an excellent knowledge of the specific markets, by our outstanding willingness for innovation as well as through the fast and flexible implementation of our plans. This should be realized within a lean organisation; for such purpose third parties are welcome to cooperate with us in the field of development and production. However, the key technology is to be provided by POWATEC.
