EXPERT II-M

The EXPERT II-M is the base configuration of our EXPERT II product line and comes equipped with a plethora of functionalities needed for SMD assembly including:

Absolute x-y position system
Software guided placement process for quality control
10" touch display interface
Vacuum nozzles capable of handling parts as small as 0201
Interfaces for a dispenser system and a large selection of feeder configurations

The EXPERT II-M-MPL is an upgrade of the base model to include our MPL Microplacer system. With this upgrade, the user will retain all the functionalities of the EXPERT II-M while adding the ability to place BGA, Micro-BGA, QFN, MLF, QFP, PQFP, CSP, and flip chip components.

The built-in, mototrized, high-resolution beam splitter camera displays both the component pin layers and the PCB pad overlayed on each other to allow for an easy and accurate placement.

EXPERT II-FP

The Expert II-FP introduces the "locking" functionality by adding brakes to the cartesian arm and pick and place head. By doing this, the user can position their component in the proper x- and y-axis, "lock" the cartesian arm in place so it does not move, then use the "Auto-Z" function so that the device traverses the vertical distance to the PCB automatically to place the device.

This option is best used when an adjustment accuracy of +/- 0.03mm must be reached or when working with extremely small parts (0201).
