The Powatec Expert II is the successor of the widely known Expert from Essemtec, which, is in use globally at more than 4000 production facilities, labs, and educational institutions. It is an advanced and modular system that fully leverages its plethora of functionalities to ensure the highest precision in SMD assembling.

Expert II MPL Standalone

The assembly of BGA, CSP, or flip chip components requires the highest level of accuracy and full process control for prototype assembly. The Powatec MPL Standalone enables the selective assembly of SMD's such as BGA, Micro-BGA, Flip-Chip, as well as fine-pitch components. An integrated zoom camera simultaneously shows the operator overlayed views of the connections (lead or balls) of the component and the connection surfaces on the board. The integrated micro-adjuster in combination with a motorized lowering head guarantees precise placements. This solution is particularly suitable for prototypes or small batch production runs, as well as part of a rework station.
